KiiPass, a project to digitise transport and tourism in the Kii Peninsula!
KiiPass is a project to digitise transportation and tourism in the Kii Peninsula, in order to make your visit here more enjoyable and convenient. "Kii" is pronounced the same as the English word "key", and this pass "opens the door" to a range of fun experiences in the Kii Peninsula!
Currently, this project is operating in two areas:
- KiiPass Koyasan - covers the Koyasan area (Koya Town, Hashimoto City, Katsuragi Town, Kudoyama Town)
- KiiPass Kumano - covers the Kumano area (Tanabe City, Shingu City, Shirahama Town, Nachikatsuura Town)
Availability Period: Friday, July 19 - Saturday, November 30, 2024 (may differ slightly by area / product).
This project is operated by the Kii Peninsula Foreign Tourists Promotion Council (Tourism Exchange Division, Wakayama Prefectural Government).
You can use KiiPass to reserve tickets for sightseeing facilities and activities (bicycle rental, boat tours, etc.) and get digital coupons for local restaurants, souvenir shops, and more!
