Kirihataya （ ）

This store offers a wide range of delicious wagashi, or traditional Japanese sweets, from seasonal Japanese tea cakes (best enjoyed with matcha tea) to sweets made with seasonal fruit, Japanese dorayaki pancakes filled with fresh cream, and Jofuku monaka (red bean-filled cakes). These delightful sweets also make excellent gifts.

Jofuku Monaka (Red Bean Cakes)

These wafer cakes are made with legendary Tendaiuyaku tea leaves, believed to be an elixir of life, along with fine Japanese cane sugar and smooth red bean paste.
