Mehari-ya
This place is a specialty store for the Kumano area's representative regional cuisine, Mehari-zushi. Mehari-zushi is seasoned white rice wrapped in a salted takana mustard leaf, marinated in a secret sauce. It is a simple dish, but from the very first bite you can experience the flavor that is nostalgic for generations of Kumano area residents.
The store moved to its current location in August 2018.
