The hot spring was re-opened in April 2014, following damage from a typhoon in 2011.
There is a spacious open-air bath with a commanding view of the Kumano Mountains and an overwhelming sense of freedom.
There is also a relaxing space where you can rest your body after getting out of the hot spring.
